Pinnacles Ranch Airfield

Pinnacles Ranch Airfield (CL56) is a 3000' long grass strip at about 1200' elevation. It is a private strip, but from the air it looked in excellent shape and a great emergency landing place. It lies on the edge of the Pinnacles National Monument. The strip is oriented North - South, and winds generally favor landing to the North. TPA 2000', left traffic. Beware turbulence off the hills.
