$139 Full hour of flight in a Citabria:
In this full hour training flight, you will not only learn how to use the stick and rudder to control the airplane through a range of maneuvers, we could also add spins or other more advanced maneuvers, or we may be able to fly as far as Santa Cruz and back, or take aerial pictures of your home. The lesson includes preflight briefing, preflight inspection and an hour flight. The Citabria is a popular two seat primary trainer. You will sit in the front seat and fly the airplane throughout the flight, with your instructor assisting from the rear seat.

$159 Full hour of flight in a Cessna 172:
As above, in a bigger four-seat plane, and we can take up to two friends or relatives with us.

$169 Introduction to aerial acrobatics:
We will fly a fully acrobatic Citabria, tailwheel, tandem seating, stick control aircraft. Your instruction will include ground instruction on the maneuvers we will perform, safety procedures, and a full hour of flight. We will do loops, rolls, hammerheads, stalls and spins, plus instruction in recovery from accidental upsets and unusual attitudes that could be caused by, for example, wake turbulence.

$219 Bay Tour in a Cessna 172:
We depart Reid Hillview airport towards the West and follow the coast from Half Moon Bay to the Golden Gate, or highway 101 to San Francisco, depending on weather and air traffic control. We will see the coast, the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Angel Island, downtown San Francisco including Coit Tower and the Transamerica Pyramid. We would return either along highway 101 and next to San Francisco International Airport, or via the East Bay. We can customize the tour according to your wishes. You will experience and learn how to manage busy complex airspace, ATC communications, and recognize Bay Area aerial landmarks. Bring your camera and up to two friends.

$799 Whole day Sierra Mountain Flying Checkout:
We will fly a Cessna 172 to Blue Canyon, Truckee and Lake Tahoe, and do several takeoffs and landings at each. You will log 5 hours of flying time and at least 10 landings. You will have a homework reading and planning assignment and our ground briefing will include technique for high elevation takeoffs and landings, flight at or below the mountaintops and in valleys, how to read the winds, and how to safely climb and cross mountain ridges. You will get to practice all of these as we fly in some of the most scenic areas of the Sierras. Two pilots can come along and swap for both to practice. This trip can be customized depending on individual preferences. The price will change by $135 per additional flight hour.
